The Native Ventura was developed with two essential things in mind: feel and strength. The Ventura has a deeper concave so that riders are closer to the obstacle during grinds, which will enhance control and make the deck more responsive. The front end of the deck received larger blunt space, an 84° head tube angle, and a broad crook groove. This makes blunts catch-free, and crooks easier to get into and hold.
After achieving the ideal feel, strength was their new obstacle. An obstacle overcome by expanding the distance between internal walls, which helps distribute the high-impact forces that are extremely common in all styles of riding. The increased distance also allowed for a larger down tube that significantly increased the weld surface and resulted in Native's strongest deck yet.
The Ventura comes in three different widths, each with its own set of pros and cons. Larger sizes will have more space to lock into grinds and be more comfortable due to the increased foot space.
